Welcome Back everyone! I hope you are enjoying the last part of your summer! I am excited to begin a new year with all of you, and if you are new to Jessie Beck, WELCOME to the BEST school in the WCSD!!
If you have not registered, NOW is the time so come into the office M-F between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Class lists will be posted inside the school, on a bulletin board in the front office the week before school starts. If you need to know your child's class assignment before then just e-mail me! Also, Supply Lists can be picked up in the office for each grade level.
School calendars will be sent home with the students on the first day of school. Our 1st-6th grade Back to School Night is Wed. 9/2 from 5:00pm -7:00pm so please mark your calendar! Kindergarten Back to School Night is Thursday 9/3 from 6-7pm. Please report to the Cafeteria first for a presentation then classrooms will be open after that!
Our Golf Tournament is quickly approaching! September 20th, at D'Andrea Golf Course! We need players, donations, and volunteers so please let us know if you can help by simply e-mailing me!

- Alignment: State Goals aligned with WSCD goals. WCSD goals aligned with High School Goals (Reno, in our case); High School Goals aligned with Middle School Goals (Swope, in our case); and Middle School Goals aligned with Elementary School Goals (Jessie Beck!)
- Accountability: We are creating an urgent focus on making sure our students will be the BEST they can be and will be held accountable to do so! Expectations of the students will be high and we need your support as parents!
- Accessibility: All Jessie Beck Staff will be accessible to ensure your student reaches his/her full potential.
- Achievement: Our students will continue to achieve high standards in all subject areas. Every student from Jessie Beck will be expected to graduate from high school, college ready!
See you on August 31st! We need Parents for Parent Patrol (outside Crosswalk duty) in the morning and afternoon for 15 minutes before/after school! Please let me know if you can help!
